Presentation Summary: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) has become more of an emphasis in Behavior Analysis. If you’re new to incorporating ACT into your practice, it can be difficult to create applicable activities and feel comfortable implementing goals associated with the 6 principles of the Hexaflex. In this presentation we will be tackling the principle of Diffusion. We will dissect applied applications of Diffusion activities and strategies. The audience will learn how to incorporate Diffusion processes to coach highly stressed caregivers so our learners are supported in an affirming, values driven way. 

Bio: Adrienne Bradley is Board Certified Behavior Analyst™ and graduate school professor on a mission to bring Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to under served communities. Adrienne graduated from Wayne State University with a Master’s in Education Psychology, and a concentration in ABA. Adrienne serves as the past President and current Partnership Liaison for Black Applied Behavior Analysts, Inc™, an organization that empowers the Black ABA community. Adrienne has passion for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion within ABA. She is the host of Shades of ABA, a podcast centering tough conversations to foster change and growth. She engages in equity and inclusion research practices, serving as a research consultant for the Michigan Interagency Coordinating Council which aims to reduce barriers to accessing ABA services in the state of Michigan through the development and implementation of a statewide, comprehensive, multidisciplinary system to provide early intervention services for infants and toddlers with disabilities and their families.
