Michelle L. Zube, M.A., BCBA – NYS has been in the fields of special education and applied behavior analysis for over 15 years. Throughout her tenure, Michelle has worked in a variety of capacities ranging from classrooms, in-home services, to international consultation and program development.

Michelle became interested in Acceptance and Commitment Training (ACT) as a means for filling the gaps of intervention and training five years ago. ACT has become a both a personal and professional endeavor as she believes that you can only lead others as far as you have led yourself. Since integrating ACT into her life, Michelle has been mentored by and collaborated with leaders in the ACT community. Additionally, she hosts multiple peer group cohorts and provides 1:1 coaching on consultation primarily in the areas of self development and parent and staff training. A recent achievement is the publication of the textbook Scientific Framework for Compassion and Social Justice: Lessons from Applied Behavior Analysis which she co-edited.
