Samantha has been working in the field of behavior since 2006, receiving a Master’s in ABA from Ball State University in 2014 and becoming a BCBA in 2015. After working (unsuccessfully) for some larger companies (and getting fired A LOT), she realized that sometimes you just have to dig in and make what you think should be, a reality. Adventures with Autism was started with the goal of providing high quality, trauma-informed ABA services in her local community.
Sam is certified as a Clinical Trauma Specialist – Individual, and an Advanced Clinical Trauma Specialist. She serves on the Oregon Health Authority Licensure Board, is licensed in the State of Oregon, and in her free time, owns and operates a Photography Company and co-host Hops & Hooves: A Humanity Podcast; which recently became an official 501(c)(3) Non-Profit.
