This event is designed for clinicians seeking instruction on utilizing neurodiversity-affirming, person-centered, values based services for their learners and/or stakeholders. Each month we host one live CEU event via Zoom. Our presenters may consist of BCBAs, Neurodivergent BCBAs, Autistic Advocates, ABA Recipients, or Professionals affiliated with autism services. Our goal is to enhance the field of ABA by providing a professional platform to voices relevant to serving the neurodivergent population. Some events may be entirely ACT-based, others may focus solely on a neurodiversity-affirming lens, while some events may utilize an ACT framework to inform neurodiversity-affirming practices.

Join this monthly panel for a deeper look at a variety of topics that are discussed by advocates, professionals, and specialists. The panelists are neurodivergent individuals from a variety of professions from across the human services realm who support the neurodiverse population. This panel is about asking the hard questions and navigating difficult conversations, while the goal is to obtain a better understanding of the neurodivergent experience and perspective. The goal is to improve our cultural competence in serving our learners. Join us as we listen, learn, and grow together. The opinions and perspectives shared during these events are provided by each individual professional and are not reflective of Mindful Behavior, its owners, or affiliates. Cultural sensitivity and competence requires that we listen and learn, which includes sitting with discomfort that may arise from actively listening. |
