As professionals, it’s easy to get sucked into the idea that our expertise is what makes us the best at our work, however there is great power in learning how to begin. This presentation will explore ways to embrace novelty in the field of ABA and become a beginner again when it’s helpful the most.
Melody is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst, Mental Health Advocate and founder of Behavioral Wellness Map which provides behavioral support for neurodiverse individuals, families and educators as well as 1:1 supervision.
She has worked in the field of ABA for the past 11 years applying her skills and experience in a variety of settings including center and home-based, schools, universities and residential homes. Her experience also includes school and family consultation.
Melody is also a yoga teacher and has received training in the use of Mindfulness practices as well as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to assist others in removing barriers related to optimal wellness.
